GameFix began
life in 1994, published by Game Publications Group. It
published small games and provided universal coverage of the
gaming industry. After issue #10, it was bought out by One
Small Step who assumed all of GPG's liabilities. The magazine
was renamed, and went to an all-colour format, though the
games shipped with unmounted counters.
Modern era
tactical wargamers found a couple of titles of interest in the
pages of this magazine; Foxhole, billed as a "grand-tactical"
Second World War game of platoon-level infantry combat, and
Edson's Ridge, set on Guadalcanal. Both were later also
sold as bagged standalone games. |
